Yes, well before googles take over of the Usenet, and then their own private
groups, there were moderated groups. The posts were moderated by moderators,
like doh!, before they were posted. Thus eliminating trolls, haters etc, as
well as off topic posts. Yet others could read what was posted. You could, if
you knew the codes, post unmoderated posts which would infuriate all who were
in the NG, and then if if happened constantly you would be “banned” from
the Usenet entirely. Based on a variety of things like your service provider,
IP addy, usernames email addy’s etc. all of which there were WK workarounds
   for the knowledgeable.

In regards to the topic neither will or prayer is the ‘magic’ formula for
   healing.

Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall
raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

This is why doubters do not receive, and such is true of religious people and
their prayers, like prayers written for the purposes of healing or whatever
the topic is. Jesus emphasized that fact many times when He stated,
“according to your faith be it unto you”. Doubters receive according to
   their beliefs.
