   The Beginning of the Galilean Ministry

   14 (Mt 4:12; 4:23) After John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee   
   preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,   
   15 (Gal 4:4; Ac 20:21; Eph 1:10) saying, "The time is fulfilled,   
   and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the gospel."   
      
   [14] Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee,   
   preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,   
   [15] And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand:   
   repent ye, and believe the gospel.

   was put in prison, He left for Galilee.

   in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali,   
   14 (Mt 1:22) that what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled,   
   saying:   
   15 "The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,   
   the way to the sea, beyond the Jordan,   
   Galilee of the Gentiles:   
   16 (Lk 2:32; Job 3:5) The people who sat in darkness   
   saw great light.   
   And on those who sat in the land of the shadow of death,   
   light has dawned."   
   17 (Mt 3:2; Mk 1:14-15) From that time Jesus began to preach, saying,   
   "Repent! For the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
