[continued from previous message]              corruption that will reach its climax in the end times. Scripture warns       of a final apostasy when people will turn away from truth to myths (2       Timothy 4:3–4). Yet God will ultimately destroy all idols and false       systems at Christ’s return (Revelation 19:20). The establishment of       false worship in Dan anticipates the world’s final rebellion against       God, and its judgment prefigures the downfall of all who trust in       deceit. In contrast, those who belong to Christ will share His       everlasting inheritance and serve Him in pure worship forever       (Revelation 22:3–4).              Conclusion              Judges 18 exposes the spiritual decay that results from self-made       religion and neglect of God’s Word. God allows such corruption to reveal       man’s need for a true King and Redeemer. Christ alone fulfills the role       of the rightful Priest, the true inheritance, and the living sanctuary.       The passage warns believers to measure all worship by Scripture and to       trust in God’s provision rather than human invention. In Him, false       religion finds its correction, and lost sinners find life.              --       Have you heard the good news Christ died for our sins (†), and God       raised Him from the dead?              That Christ died for our sins shows we're sinners who deserve the death       penalty. That God raised Him from the dead shows Christ's death       satisfied God's righteous demands against our sin (Romans 3:25; 1 John       2:1-2). This means God can now remain just, while forgiving you of your       sins, and saving you from eternal damnation.              On the basis of Christ's death and resurrection for our sins, call on       the name of the Lord to save you: "For 'everyone who calls on the name       of the Lord will be saved'" (Romans 10:13, ESV).              https://christrose.news/salvation              To automatically receive daily Bible teaching updates with colorful       images and website formatting, subscribe to my feed in a client like       Thunderbird:              https://www.christrose.news/feeds/posts/default              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
