[continued from previous message]              >but a following of a script to brainwash people and teach them to parrot       >answers given by the magazine, not the Word of God.              The Watchtower magazine is a Bible-aid magazine. Yes, it follows Bible       guidelines in those articles, but many of the JW's when answering, add       their own ideas or facts. All JW's are encouraged to research the       various Bible subjects listed in the Watchtower.              There is a big difference between indoctrination and brainwashing.       Notice AI again:              "AI Overview       Brainwashing is an extreme, coercive, and forcible form of       indoctrination that involves using methods like isolation, abuse, and       sleep deprivation to dismantle an individual's core beliefs and       enforce a new, often conflicting, set of ideas.               Indoctrination, on the other hand, is a broader and often more subtle       process of teaching a specific set of beliefs without encouraging       critical analysis, typically through repeated instruction and       emotional manipulation. While indoctrination aims to create a loyal       follower who accepts the doctrine, brainwashing aims to obliterate the       individual's original self.
