Then why contest it? Why make an issue out of it when the whole understanding
of the background varies all over the place?

Most of the people that are JW’s now are people who celebrate the “Day of
   the dead”.
Why don’t you rail against them every year on their appointed time?
Also why do you now consider that you are equally yoked with ’christians’
yet consider yourself above reproach while quoting Paul saying that you are
to have nothing to do with them, yet here you are, hanging in so-called
   christian and religious NG’s?

And on that point, why are the JW NG’s dead?

There are active JW’s around here that do just what I said they do, and
that is why I posted the comment.

Why the quoted scripture? Are you inferring that trick or treaters are all
   christians?
Typically it is the Karen type homes that are egged.

Interesting, So you have private/closed meetings, and Public meetings?
Seems that they are imitating the days that typical protestant churches hold
   their services.

The Book of Mormons is also a Bible-aid book. Except thy don’t modify it
anywhere as frequently as the JW does.

   > Notice AI again:

I snipped the AI trash. It is a complier of Human info, has no thought, no
wisdom and is nothing but a program. It takes its source information from
anywhere it can get it, and does not discriminate in whether the info is
   good, evil, Truth, or lies.

Yet you use it as a source of proof and a justifier for your thoughts. Like a
child who says, But mommy, Charles, Joe and Stanley do it.

You are hypocritical to your statement above that Paul said not to be
unequally yoked together, yet you accept its thoughts.

Remember when Satan quoted the scripture to Jesus in order to tempt him? No
it is that your lazy mind has yielded its skill, no matter what level you
   think at, to a program.

AI has already cost many people their lives. Here you are slowly yielding
   your very soul to it.

There is another person here who used it a lot. For self justification as
well, and their defense was that it quoted scripture and said stuff that
he/she agreed with and that justified its use, not even realizing the points
it made were often erroneous, even if it was slight. Like a little white lie
is acceptable in the grander scheme of things. Plus the ends justified the
   means, type thinking.

God gives the Born Again believer His Holy Sprit to lead them into all truth.
To aid, assist, and comfort us, also to pray through the heart of a Born
Again believer the desires of their hearts, their questions, needs, etc. And
the Heavenly Father speaks to us by His Holy Spirit, for all who have the
ears to hear, and do not quench the Holy Spirit. This is what scripture
speaks to man. And is only the tip of an iceberg in learning and
   understanding.

It is also for those that are spiritual.

   Gal 6:1-10

1 Brothers, if a man is overtaken in some deviation, you, the spiritual ones,
restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, that you
   not also be tempted.

2 Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.

3 For if anyone thinks to be something, he deceives himself, being nothing.

4 But let each one prove his work, and then he alone will have a boast in
himself and not as to another.

5 For each one will bear his own load.

6 But let the one being taught in the Word share with the one teaching, in
   all good things.

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man may sow, that he
   also will reap.

8 For the one sowing to his flesh will reap corruption of the flesh. But
theone sowing to the Spirit will reap everlasting life from the Spirit.

9 But we should not weaken in doing good, for in due time we shall reap, if
   we do not faint.

10 So then, as we have time, let us work good toward all, and especially
toward the household of the faith.

These scriptures are deep, and to those that are strong in the Lord, even
   deeper.

None of them are to be taken lightly.
