“For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell,
and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the
foundations of the mountains.” (Deu 32:22)

“He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow,
and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.” (Psa
   46:9)

“The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit
the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the
clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and
drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of
Lebanon languisheth. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the
earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of
his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by
   him.” (Nam 1:3-6)

“The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with
blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was
burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. And the second angel sounded, and
as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the
third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which
were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were
destroyed. And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from
heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the
rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called
Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died
of the waters, because they were made bitter. And the fourth angel sounded,
and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon,
and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened,
and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I
beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a
loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the
other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!”
   (Rev 8:7-13)

And this happens before this earth and the universe around it are burnt up.

There is far more to this in the scriptures. Why?

To warn the humans of impending doom, death and eternal destruction and
   torment. Why?

So they can seek the Lord who will provide a way of escape.

The evil one and his followers seek to poo poo this so as to entrap them into
   the depths of Hell.

There is a way that seems right to men, but the end thereof is the ways of
   death.

You all are like the frog in a pot of water saying what’s the problem, as
the temp slowly increases and then dies in ignorance while others feast on
   its legs.

You all heard the warnings, yet declare the waters fine.
