   The Rich Young Man

   16 (Mt 25:46; Jn 3:15) Now one came and said to Him,   
   "Good Teacher, what good deed shall I do to have eternal life?"   
   17 (Lev 18:5; Ro 10:5) He replied to him, "Why do you call Me good?   
   There is One who is good. But if you would enter life, keep the commandments."   
   18 He said to Him, "Which ones?"   
   Jesus said, "You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery,   
   You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness,   
   (Ex 20:13-16; Dt 5:17-20).   
   19 (Lev 19:18; Mt 22:39; Ex 20:12) Honor your father and your mother,   
   (Ex 20:12; Dt 5:16) and,   
   You shall love your neighbor as yourself.(Lev 19:18.)"

   19 Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good,   
   except God alone.   
   20 (Ro 13:9; Ex 20:12-17) You know the commandments:   
   Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal,   
   Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother.   
   (Ex 20:12-16; Dt 5:16-20.)"
