   So you're saying God devised a new covenant because the Israelites   
   couldn't keep the old covenant.  Why wouldn't  God have anticipated   
   this and tried the new covenant to begin with?

   No, that is not what it means.  You should get a modern translation

   The Bible never says she was a clone, anymore than saying men are made   
   of mud; that was you that claimed that, and that's what I was
