   came from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.   
   44 Now he who betrayed Him had given them a sign, saying,   
   "Whomever I kiss, He is the One. Seize Him and lead Him away safely."   
   45 So as soon as he came, he went to Him immediately and said,   
   "Rabbi, Rabbi!" and kissed Him.   
   46 They laid hands on Him and seized Him.   
   47 Then one of those who stood by drew his sword   
   and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear.   
   48 Jesus said to them, "Have you come out with swords   
   and clubs to arrest Me as you would a thief?

   and you did not seize Me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled."

   shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.   
   [45] And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith,   
   Master, master; and kissed him.
