XPost: alt.religion.christian, alt.religion.jehovahs-witn       From: .robert@mu.way              Because the Scriptures teach that the Born Again Believer teaches that all       who have given their hearts to the LORD will go to heaven, meaning Jesus the       Messiah, the JW’s, per James the JW, attempts to use this verse below to       make believe that they too have a place to go. So tell us James, why would       anyone look forward to an eternal life in this world? Given all the chaos,       hatred, and deterioration of everything and a life without God in Heaven that       only 144K can get to? This is the con job on the JW which James loves to       propagate.              Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.              So to placate James the JW let’s surmise that this is the reality for a       moment.              Then Take that thought, and look at what this same Jesus spoke in regards to       this present earth and the heavens surrounding it in light of what Jesus       spoke here below in V 33. It is a footnote to the parable starting in V 29.              Luk 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the       trees;              Luk 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that       summer is now nigh at hand.              Luk 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that       the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.              Luk 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till       all be fulfilled.              *Luk 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass       away.*              ** the “Kingdom of God” spoken of there is the Millennial Rule of Jesus       in the Land of Israel. And, of course, that is the King of Kings, Lord over       all, Jesus, God.              Addendum;              1Co 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the       Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is       the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.              (AMPC)Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking under the power       and influence of the [Holy] Spirit of God can [ever] say, Jesus be cursed!       And no one can [really] say, Jesus is [my] Lord, except by and under the       power and influence of the Holy Spirit.              Lord in that verse in koine Greek is kurios. The same word the LXX translated       from Yehovah God 300 years before the life of Christ Jesus.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
