[continued from previous message]              >fails (Deuteronomy 18:22).              I am not familiar with 1925. What is your proof. I agree on 1914,       since that time period fits Jesus description of what things are like       when he comes. And his return will not be visible to human eyes:              -- New King James       John 14:19 "A little while longer and the world will see Me no more,       but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.              I'll bet the churches never taught you that!                     >       >4. *Misuse of God’s name as an exclusive badge* –       >       >While claiming to restore divine honor by using “Jehovah,” the       >Watchtower organization has turned the Name into a *sectarian identity*,       >echoing pagan religions that used secret or sacred names for spiritual       >power. Yet the New Testament centers faith on *Jesus’ name* (Acts 4:12;       >Philippians 2:9–11).              "spiritual power"? Where do you come up with these things?              You call God "Lord", which is not a name, but a title. And your Bible       removes the Tetragrammaton from all the OT. And it is found nearly       7000 times in the Bible. What a sacrilege.              >       >5. *Organization-centered authority* –       >       >The governing body’s control over members mirrors *hierarchical       >priesthoods* and *state religions* of pagan empires. True Christianity       >teaches direct access to God through Christ, not through an earthly       >organization (Hebrews 4:14–16; 10:19–22) or the "faithful slave".       >       Oh, but you are so wrong. God has always had an organization. At first       His Heavenly organization, then the organization of the Israelites,       then His Christian organization.              The apostle Paul gives you PROOF of a Christian organization. Paul       talks about the qualifications of the bishop arrangement:              "1. This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a       bishop, he desires a good work.        2. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife,       temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;        3. not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle,       not quarrelsome, not covetous;        4. one who rules his own house well, having his children in       submission with all reverence        5. (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will       he take care of the church of God?);        6. not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the       same condemnation as the devil.        7. Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are       outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil." (1       Tim 3:1-7; NKJV)              He also tells it for the deacons:              "8. Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given       to much wine, not greedy for money,        9. holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience.        10. But let these also first be proved; then let them serve as       deacons, being found blameless.        11. Likewise their wives must be reverent, not slanderers,       temperate, faithful in all things.        12. Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children       and their own houses well.        13. For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves       a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ       Jesus." (1 Tim 3:8-13; NKJV)              THUS THE CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATION IS STRUCTERED FROM THE BIBLE.       Christians are just not expected to ONLY pray to God and nothing else.       They are all part of an organization that looks out for their concern.              >6. *Rejection of Christ’s bodily resurrection* –       >       >Their claim that Jesus rose as a “spirit creature” resembles *Gnostic       >and pagan dualism*, which denied the goodness of the physical body.       >Scripture plainly teaches that He rose bodily (Luke 24:39; John 20:27; 1       >Corinthians 15:4–8).              Yes, Jesus was raised as a spirit being. Which are invisible to human       eyes:              -- Revised Standard       1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the       righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being       put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit;              -- New King James       1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood       cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit       incorruption.              Thus Jesus had to be a spirit being to enter Heaven. But before he       went to Heaven, he stayed to be seen by many. But if he gave up his       body for the ransom, he had to materialize (like the OT angles did) a       physical body to be seen and heard.              He first appeared to Mary Magdaleen. If he had the same body, or a       copy of it, as before, she would have recognized him. BUT SHE DIDN'T.       SHE THOUGHT HE WAS THE GARDENER. That is proof that Jesus materialized       a different body.              >       >So, although Jehovah’s Witnesses accuse others of pagan compromise,       >their own system borrows heavily from *pagan philosophy,              Not that I am aware of. If you want pagan philosophy, the word       "immortal" soul came from the pagans Aristotle and Plato. Sorry       churches, but you are right smack into paganism.              >human       >speculation,              Everyone speculates at times.                     >and false prophecy*,              Rather, JW's are following this Scripture. None of the churches I know       are doing this:              - King James       Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that       shineth more and more unto the perfect day.              Bible truths just don't leap on a person in one day. Even Jesus       withheld some information from his apostles saying they were not ready       for it then.                            >rather than from the pure revelation       >of Scripture centered on the risen, divine Son of God.              Yes, that is what JW's end up with. And you told it correct. "Divine       Son of God, since the Devil was a god, (2 Cor 4:4) how much more so       would Jesus be "a god".                     "LEARN FROM JESUS       Make Time for God       Learn More".
