   Stupid, brainwashing lie #1: Those who reject Christ are God's children.   
      
       • Those who reject Christ do not belong to God. Scripture draws a   
         sharp line between God’s children and the devil’s children.   
      
       • John 1:12 says God gives the right to become His children only to   
         those who receive Christ and believe in His name. Jesus told   
         unbelieving Jews, “You are of your father the devil, and your will   
         is to do your father’s desires” (John 8:44, ESV). Their spiritual   
         parentage showed itself in their rejection of Him.   
      
       • 1 John 3:8–10 explains that the one who practices sin belongs to   
         the devil, for the devil sinned from the beginning. The passage   
         states that the children of God and the children of the devil   
         appear by their actions. Those who reject Christ do not belong to   
         -God.   
      
       • Ephesians 2:1–3 describes unbelievers as dead in trespasses and   
         sins, walking according to the prince of the power of the air. They   
         act as sons of disobedience and live among those destined for   
         wrath. God brings individuals out of that condition only by grace   
         through faith in Christ.   
      
       • Acts 13:10 records Paul calling Elymas “you son of the devil,”   
         because Elymas opposed the gospel and attempted to turn others from   
         the faith. His opposition revealed his spiritual allegiance.   
      
       • Matthew 13:38 shows two families: the sons of the kingdom and the   
         sons of the evil one. Those who reject the word remain among the   
         latter. Only by receiving Christ’s saving work does a person enter   
         God’s family.   
      
   These passages show that individuals who reject Christ’s atoning death   
   and resurrection stand under the devil’s dominion, not God’s fatherhood.   
   God does not burn His children in the fire. He burns the children of the   
   devil in the fire that was prepared for the devil and his angels   
   (Matthew 25:41; John 8:44).   
      
   Stupid, brainwashing lie #2: Being just makes God immoral.   
      
       • Romans displays God’s righteousness in judging every kind of   
         sinner. Romans 1 shows His wrath against pagans who suppress the   
         truth, reject His glory, and plunge into every form of evil (Romans   
         1:18–32).   
      
       • Romans 2 condemns religious men who judge others while practicing   
         the same sins, revealing that God’s judgment is righteous and   
         impartial (Romans 2:1–11).   
      
       • Romans 3 concludes that all stand guilty before God, for “there is   
         none righteous, no, not one,” and every mouth is stopped (Romans   
         3:9–19).   
      
   Scripture does not defend the lost as victims. It reveals them as rebels   
   who deserve judgment. Hebrews adds that those who reject Christ face   
   greater guilt: “How much worse punishment, do you think, will be   
   deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God” (Hebrews   
   10:29, ESV). The lost do not deserve exemption. They deserve the   
   consequence of rejecting the only sacrifice that removes guilt.   
      
   *Stupid, brainwashing lie #3: A person can escape eternal torment   
   without trusting Christ*   
      
       • "Jehovah's Witnesses" promote a false-gospel that you can escape   
         the conscious eternal torment you deserve, without trusting in   
         Christ. Scripture denies such a path.   
      
       • Jesus warned, “Unless you believe that I am he, you will die in   
         your sins” (John 8:24, ESV).   
      
       • Paul said those who do not obey the gospel “will suffer the   
         punishment of eternal destruction” away from the Lord’s presence (2   
         Thessalonians 1:8–9, ESV).   
      
       • Revelation states that anyone not found in the book of life is cast   
         into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15).   
      
       • Jesus described a reality where “their worm does not die and the   
         fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:48, ESV; Gehenna).   
      
   Any false gospel doctrine offering relief apart from Christ points the   
   sinner toward the very judgment it denies.   
      
   *Stupid, brainwashing lie #4: post-death fire must follow earthly physics*   
      
       • God is a "literal" Being, yet He does not consist of physical,   
         earth-physics material as we understand it. He doesn't cease to be   
         literal, simply because He is a spirit being.   
      
       • The lake of fire was prepared for spirit beings, not earth-physics   
         beings (Matthew 25:41).   
      
       • The soul is not made of earth-physics material (Matthew 10:28),   
         neither will their resurrected bodies be made of earth-physics   
         material.   
      
   The stupid, brainwashing lie is that if it isn't made of earth-physics   
   material, then it isn't "literal".   
      
   *Stupid, brainwashing lie #5: eternal torment contradicts God’s love*   
      
       • God’s love shines in the cross, where Christ bore wrath for sinners   
         (1 Corinthians 15:1–4; Romans 3:23–26, ESV).   
      
       • Love does not remove justice; it satisfies it. Those who reject   
         Christ remain under wrath (John 3:36, ESV). God does not owe mercy   
         to those who refuse the only atonement He provided.   
      
   *Stupid, brainwashing lie #6: annihilation or cessation of existence   
   fits the biblical language of judgment*   
      
       • Jesus and the apostles describe conscious, unending punishment—not   
         non-existence.   
      
       • Jesus speaks of “weeping and gnashing of teeth,” which requires   
         ongoing awareness (Matthew 13:42, ESV).   
      
       • Revelation says, “the smoke of their torment goes up forever and   
         ever” (Revelation 14:11, ESV).   
      
       • Jesus said it will be “more tolerable on the day of judgment for   
         the land of Sodom than for you” (Matthew 11:24, ESV).   
      
       • Degrees of punishment require consciousness.   
      
       • He also said of Judas, “It would have been better for that man if   
         he had not been born” (Matthew 26:24, ESV).   
      
   There are no degrees of non-existence, and non-existence cannot be   
   better or worse. Jesus’s warnings cannot fit annihilation.   
      
   This lie also collapses before the passages that show the soul survives   
   death.   
      
       • Jesus said that men can kill the body but cannot kill the soul   
         (Matthew 10:28, ESV).   
      
       • Paul said that to be absent from the body is to be present with the   
         Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8, ESV).   
      
       • Jesus told the thief, “Today you will be with me in Paradise” (Luke   
         23:43, ESV).   
      
      
   Death does not end existence. It ushers the soul into conscious   
   accountability.
