Again, notice DESTROY even the "soul". Thus a soul is not immortal as
   Plato and Aristotle taught.

   > neither will their resurrected bodies be made of earth-physics
   > material.

We have the account of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, as to what
the resurrection would be like. He was resurrected with the appearance
of his same body. All those present recognized him.

Thus, the resurrection of the dead (Acts 24:15) will come back with a
physical body, just like Lazarus was given.

   >
   >The stupid, brainwashing lie is that if it isn't made of earth-physics
   >material, then it isn't "literal".

Negatrons. If the CONTEXT shows something is not literal, then it is
   symbolic.

   >
   >*Stupid, brainwashing lie #5: eternal torment contradicts God’s love*

ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY CORRECT. Pure 100% love and torture do not
belong together in a sane mind. Thus according to your teachings, God
   is crazy.

Most men consider torture barbaric, and not necessary to punish
evildoers. Taking their life away is the ultimate punishment.

   >
   > • God’s love shines in the cross, where Christ bore wrath for sinners
   > (1 Corinthians 15:1–4; Romans 3:23–26, ESV).

Well, "cross" is a pagan symbol. The REAL word the Bible uses is
   "stauros', an upright pole.

   >
   > • Love does not remove justice; it satisfies it.

Yes, God is a God of justice. (Deut 32:4)

   >Those who reject
   > Christ remain under wrath (John 3:36, ESV). God does not owe mercy
   > to those who refuse the only atonement He provided.

   OK

   >
   >*Stupid, brainwashing lie #6: annihilation or cessation of existence
   >fits the biblical language of judgment*

   True.

   >
   > • Jesus and the apostles describe conscious, unending punishment—not
   > non-existence.

When something is destroyed, it no longer exists. And the Bible
   continuously says the evildoers get destruction. (Mt 7:13; Mt 21:41;
Rom 9:22; Php 1:28; 3:19) As well as:

   - New King James
2 Thessalonians 1:9 These shall be punished with everlasting
destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His
   power,

   And there are more.

   >
   > • Jesus speaks of “weeping and gnashing of teeth,” which requires
   > ongoing awareness (Matthew 13:42, ESV).

Yes, when they are symbolically tossed in there, they are not happy
   with that outcome.

   >
   > • Revelation says, “the smoke of their torment goes up forever and
   > ever” (Revelation 14:11, ESV).

   Then you are contradicting yourself.

You believe the rich man and Lazarus to be literal. That would mean
that hellfire is within calling distance of Heaven.

But Revelation says the smoke goes up from hellfire forever.
Then it must reach Heaven and beyond for the Great Smokeout.

You see, misinterpreting the Scriptures can promote some odd
deductions. Like saying Jesus is Almighty God and then reading:

Only God is good. (Luke 18:19)
Jesus didn't know the day or hour. Only God did. (Mt 24:36)
Cannot look at God and still live. (Ex 33:20)
No man has ever seen God; (1 John 4:12)
We have the same God as Jesus. (Mt 27:46)
No one has seen the Father. (John 6:46)
Jesus said he was the start of God's creations. (Rev 3:14)
Yes, Jesus was created by God (Col 1:15)
God is not a three headed freak, but only ONE God. (Deut 6:4)
God is not a three headed freak, but only ONE God. (Mr 12:29)
Only God is good. (Mr 10:18)
Jesus said must worship and serve ONLY God. (Mt 4:10)
In Heaven, God is STILL the HEAD of Jesus. (1 Cor 11:3)
Jesus' own angel said to "Worship God", not Jesus (Rev 19:10)

   Again, notice 1 John 4:12a,

   New King James
1 John 4:12a No one has seen God at any time.

   >
   > • Jesus said it will be “more tolerable on the day of judgment for
   > the land of Sodom than for you” (Matthew 11:24, ESV).

The "you" is Capernaum. (Vs 23)

   >
   > • Degrees of punishment require consciousness.

Not really. The state does it all the time. A man up for killing one
person, can get the chair. A serial killer who killed 30 people, also
   gets the chair.

   >
   > • He also said of Judas, “It would have been better for that man if
   > he had not been born” (Matthew 26:24, ESV).

Betrayal of the Son of God is no small thing.

   >
   >There are no degrees of non-existence, and non-existence cannot be
   >better or worse. Jesus’s warnings cannot fit annihilation.

   What warning

   >
   >This lie also collapses before the passages that show the soul survives
   >death.

That's not what the Bible say. Since man IS A SOUL, when a man dies a
   soul dies:

   -- King James
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a
   living soul.

When Lazarus died Jesus said he was sleeping. Where was the soul
   Lazarus then?

A soul craves and can eat meat (Deut 12:20)
A soul has blood (Jer 2:34)
A soul can die. (Eze 18:4)

Now what do those 3 Scriptures remind you of? Yes, a PERSON.

Now when Rachel was having a hard time giving birth, it says her soul
   left her body.

   -- King James
Genesis 35:18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for
she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him
   Benjamin.

Soul can also mean life, as these translations show.

   CEB
As her life faded away, just before she died, she named him Ben-oni,
but his father named him Benjamin.

   EHV
Then as her life was slipping away (for she was dying), she named her
son Benoni, but his father named him Benjamin.

   LEB
And it happened that when her life was departing (for she was dying),
she called his name Ben-Oni. But his father called him Benjamin.

   VOICE
But as her life slipped away, just before she died, Rachel named her
son Ben-oni, but his father decided to call him Benjamin instead.

   >
   > • Jesus said that men can kill the body but cannot kill the soul
   > (Matthew 10:28, ESV).

So the next logical thought is men can't kill the soul, but God can.
Thus your soul is not immortal.

   >
   > • Paul said that to be absent from the body is to be present with the
   > Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8, ESV).

Yes, that is true. Paul was one of the 144,000 who go to Heaven. Those
that die go immediately to Heaven.
   >
   > • Jesus told the thief, “Today you will be with me in Paradise” (Luke
   > 23:43, ESV).

JESUS DIDN'T GO TO PARIDISE THE SAME DAY THAT HE DIED. He had to be in
the heart of the earth (grave) for 3 days and nights. Just like Jonah
was in the big fish for 3 days. Also Jonah was not in any Paradise.
And neither was the Son of God.

   -- New King James
Matthew 12:40 "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the
belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and
three nights in the heart of the earth.

Your translators inserted the comma in the wrong place.

   >
   >
   >Death does not end existence. It ushers the soul into conscious
   >accountability.

Sorry, but I can only go by the Bible. Death ends a soul also. (Eze
   18:4)

   >
   >*Stupid, brainwashing lie #7: symbolism cancels reality*
   >
   > • Symbolic language communicates real truths consistent with the
   > image.
   >
   > • Revelation (for example) marks symbolism using “like” and “as” and
   > then explains the images plainly (Revelation 1:20, ESV).
   >
   > • Luke 16:19–31 names Lazarus and reveals conscious comfort and
   > conscious torment after death.

It is a parable. Look it up.

   >
   > • Calling it a “parable” cannot erase what it teaches, and it differs
   > from the structure of Jesus’s parables.
