The only "theories" here are the ideas that

    • since "nothing is to stop Jesus from using real Bible
characters", He therefore MUST have been telling a parable.

    • He must have done here what He does nowhere else in any
parable: fabricate a story about real Bible characters.

    • if it's a parable, you get to make it mean the exact opposite
of what it teaches. In no way would a parable which presents
conscious torment immediately after physical death for the
lost, and conscious comfort for the saved indicate: cessation
of existence without torment (your lies).

The cited verses show it's not just my opinion, but what the Bible says.
You did not refute that from any Bible text. You simply labeled it like
you do everything else. It's your ideas which don't come from Scripture.

It doesn't help your view to label it a parable, since parables do not
mean "the exact opposite of the truths they convey" (which is what is
needed to support your view). Thus, if someone suffers conscious torment
immediately after physical death and has no second chance to avoid that,
this does NOT support the conclusion they are simply annihilated.

   --
Have you heard the good news Christ died for our sins (†), and God
   raised Him from the dead?

That Christ died for our sins shows we're sinners who deserve the death
penalty. That God raised Him from the dead shows Christ's death
satisfied God's righteous demands against our sin (Romans 3:25; 1 John
2:1-2). This means God can now remain just, while forgiving you of your
sins, and saving you from eternal damnation.

On the basis of Christ's death and resurrection for our sins, call on
the name of the Lord to save you: "For 'everyone who calls on the name
of the Lord will be saved'" (Romans 10:13, ESV).
