   and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his   
   eyes.   
   [12] I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you   
   for his name's sake.   
   [13] I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the   
   beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked   
   one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.   
   [14] I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is   
   from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are   
   strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked   
   one.   
   [15] Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any   
   man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.   
   [16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of   
   the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.   
   [17] And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the   
   will of God abideth for ever.   
      
   The Antichrist   
      
   18 (1Jn 4:3; Mt 24:5; 1Jn 2:22) Little children, it is the last hour.   
   As you have heard that the antichrist will come, even now there are   
   many antichrists. By this we know that it is the last hour.   
   19 (Ac 20:30; 1Co 11:19) They went out from us, but they were not of us,   
   for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have remained with us.   
   But they went out, revealing that none of them were of us.   
   20 (1Jn 2:27; Mk 1:24; Jn 14:26) But you have an anointing from the Holy One,   
   and you know all things.   
   21 (2Pe 1:12) I have written to you, not because you do not know the truth,   
   but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.   
   22 (2Jn 1:7; 1Jn 4:3; 2:18) Who is a liar   
   but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? Whoever denies the Father   
   and the Son is the antichrist.   
   23 (1Jn 4:15; Jn 8:19) No one who denies the Son has the Father;   
   the one who confesses the Son has the Father.   
   24 (Jn 14:23; 1Jn 1:3) Let that which you have heard from the beginning   
   remain in you. If that which you have heard from the beginning remains in you,   
   you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.   
   25 (1Jn 1:2) And this is the promise that He has promised us-eternal life.   
   26 (2Jn 1:7; 1Jn 3:7) I have written these things to you concerning those   
   who deceive you.   
   27 (Jn 14:26) But the anointing which you have received from Him remains   
   in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. For as the same anointing   
   teaches you concerning all things, and is truth, and is no lie,   
   and just as it has taught you, remain in Him.   
      
   [18] Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that   
   antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know   
   that it is the last time.   
   [19] They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of   
   us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they   
   might be made manifest that they were not all of us.   
   [20] But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

   Children of God   
      
   28 (1Jn 3:2; 4:17) And now, little children, remain in Him, so that   
   when He appears, we may have confidence   
   and not be ashamed before Him when He comes.   
   29 (1Jn 3:7; 5:1) If you know that He is righteous,   
   you know that everyone who does righteousness is born of Him.   
      
   [28] And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we   
   may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.   
   [29] If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth   
   righteousness is born of him.   
      
   1 John 3   
      
   1 (Jn 1:12; 3:16) Consider how much love the Father has given to us,   
   that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know   
   us, because it did not know Him.   
   2 (Ro 8:18; 8:29) Beloved, now are we children of God, and it has not yet been   
   revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He appears, we shall be   
   like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.   
   3 (2Co 7:1; 2Pe 3:14) Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself,   
   just as He is pure.   
   4 (1Jn 5:17; Ro 4:15; 3:20) Whoever practices sin breaks the law,   
   for sin is lawlessness.   
   5 (2Co 5:21; Heb 9:28) You know that He was revealed to take away our sins,   
   and in Him there is no sin.   
   6 (3Jn 1:11; 1Jn 2:4; 3:9) Whoever remains in Him does not sin.   
   Whoever sins has not seen Him and does not know Him.   
   7 (1Jn 2:26; 2:29) Little children, let no one deceive you.   
   The one who does righteousness is righteous, just as Christ is righteous.   
   8 (Jn 8:44; Mt 13:38) Whoever practices sin is of the devil,   
   for the devil has been sinning from the beginning.   
   For this purpose the Son of God was revealed,   
   that He might destroy the works of the devil.   
   9 (1Jn 5:18; Jn 1:13; 1Pe 1:23) Whoever has been born of God does not   
   practice sin, for His seed remains in him. And he cannot keep on sinning,   
   because he has been born of God.   
   10 (1Jn 4:8; Mt 13:38) In this the children of God and the children   
   of the devil are revealed: Whoever does not live in righteousness   
   is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.   
      
   [1] Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we   
   should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not,   
   because it knew him not.   
   [2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we   
   shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for   
   we shall see him as he is.   
   [3] And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he   
   is pure.   
   [4] Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the   
   transgression of the law.   
   [5] And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is   
   no sin.   
   [6] Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen   
   him, neither known him.   
   [7] Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is   
   righteous, even as he is righteous.   
   [8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the   
   beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might

   [9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in   
   him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.   
   [10] In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the   
   devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that

   Love One Another   
      
   11 (1Jn 1:5; 2Jn 1:5) For this is the message that you heard
