   wildfires in Canadian history. Now they were trickling back. In some   
   places, there’d been total devastation. In others there was no damage   
   at all.   
   I'd been contacted to go and "help out". I arrived and was picked up   
   by the priest of one of the local churches. It turned out I was to help   
   with a Bible Camp - something I'd never done before. Fortunately, I   
   was teamed with two others who knew exactly what they were doing!   
   I spent a week playing with kids. Honestly, I'd been expecting to do   
   something "more demanding." And that's where I was wrong. Playing   
   productively with kids is very demanding, and by "productive" I mean   
   telling them the story of Jesus.   
   The whole camp was bathed in an atmosphere of love; the volunteers   
   worked together in love, loved the kids, and the kids loved the   
   volunteers. Something little - "insignificant" - became something very   
   big and very good.

   Pray for Muslims and believers in Whitehorse and the Yukon to come together,   
   and for Muslims to find faith in Jesus Christ.   
      
   Pray for Muslims and believers in Yellowknife to come together,   
   and for Muslims to find faith in Jesus Christ.   
      
   Pray that believers in Iqaluit take up Jesus' command to love and reach   
   their Muslim neighbours with the Gospel.   
      
   - Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you   
   - Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving   
   Christ among Muslim people -   
   Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality."   
   - When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims   
   throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days!   
      
   Pray for the leaders our educational system, that they would   
   have wisdom and make God honouring decisions   
      
   Pray that those who serve in law enforcement will have the resources   
   they need and the vigilance their work requires.   
      
   Jesus Christ, your afflictions for us were more than we can   
   conceive. How can we ever thank you appropriately? Amen.   
      
   Gracious God, You have sent Jesus to be one of us and to accept   
   us without exception. Thank you. As Mary did, help us to react   
   and respond with joy. Amen   
      
   Pray for believers in MYANMAR (BURMA) who have been   
   targeted by warring factions in the ongoing civil war.   
      
      
   Christ is the reason for the season .   
      
   Lord, thank you that amidst the complexities and challenges of life,   
   your transcendent love permeates the world with transformative   
   power through seemingly insignificant acts. Meet us this season as   
   we reflect on the ultimate expression of your love shown in Jesus.   
      
   Pray to the Lord that to know the Holy Spirit.   
   and Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness.   
      
   Remember eternity starts now -   
   Pray for the direction you take to the Ever lasting loving God.
