From: bababooey@drlauramail.com              On Tue, 08 Jun 2004 11:09:33 -0700, Jon Doh babbled on about bipoly.org - a       site for       bisexuals by bisexuals proclaiming:              > NO porn, banners, popups, bullsh*t.       >       > bipoly.org - it's what bisexuals want it to be. Come participate.              Almost too fake to be true. But let's take a looksee:              For one thing it sounds like the title for a board game.       "FAQ" would stand for "Frequently Answered Questions" because the answers are       given, but       not the questions.              What you said about lesbians was troubling, however: "they're often jealous or       hateful of       the opposite sex." I don't really see this UNLESS they are still closeted or       just coming       out. In time many lesbians acknowledge that men exist - like pocket lint -       and many       accept us guys are part of existence and others, not being attracted to guys -       have as       much use for us as pocket lint. All in all, I find the lesbians that I know       have a common       link with the gay men that I know, and respect each other. As for me -- there       are few in       my circle of acquaintances that identify openly as being bisexual - maybe I'm       the only       one. Some ask for clarification, eg. "How can you say you're bi if you're       married to a       female?" And the straight people had more of a tenancy to think I was       "confused".       Confused is right. Confused as to why it should bother them one way or another.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
