   Standing, looking out of the window of my room, late afternoon Staurday, at   
   a quiet, near empty street and a small, completely still, tree in blossom   
   across the road, listening to the adagio part of Mozart's Serenade for wind   
   instruments.This was all better than a good glass of wine--a good one,   
   mind--though a good glass of wine would have been just the ticket, so I had   
   one... A tiny corner of an insane world; it was a still moment, religious   
   without the concomitant craperoony.
