   No the person with hayfever wasn't the person drinking rum. As for your   
   drinking tips, in my 20-odd year career as a tippler I've discovered I maybe   
   the excepetion that proves the rule in that vodka in excess gives me a worse   
   head than, say, Bourbon or Brandy or Scotch. Thing is though, is that   
   generally, I drink vodka or gin as the mixer-tonic water-suits me. It takes   
   a lot to make me drunk and I've kept my looks and vitality by nearly always   
   eating.
