If you don't recognize my alias, it's from the movie "Brazil" and in
the movie there was an idea almost as absurd. The Ministry of
Information was eating up 6% of the GNP so they came up with the
brilliant idea of charging suspects for the costs of the information
used in their interrogation. My former alias, Archibald Buttle,
was mistakenly arrested by stormtroopers and after he was bagged
the supervisor presented his wife with a bill for the cost of his
arrest. Like George Orwell, Terry Gilliam intended his work as a
   warning and not a blueprint.
