From: s.c@t.org              Such undiluted opprobrium at Blair and all his works was fun to see. The old       Bill, realising that on this occasion they were unlikely to hear civil       rights lawyers hurrying near lashed out like the police *force* they used to       be. I was cheering for the protestors obviously: all the mendacity, violence       and drug use this government has licensed and they're obsessed with banning       fox hunting? Fuck off mate...        Yes watching it made me chuckle rather. I don't think the BBC knew quite       what to do? Which way were they to throw bias? On one side were a bunch of       tories of all classes and on the other the fucking old bill!! Where were the       inner city ragamuffins? Where were their favourites? Nowhere to be seen. A       huge riot in the middle of multicultural London and it was an all white       affair. The news editors at the BBC London Local news must have been       scratching their heads: 'Where's the *angle* Jeremy?'                     ROBBIE              http://robbie.journalspace.com/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
