You don't have to pick me up on the vagaries of of the Chomsky-ite, Michael
Moore, Jack Ass ideas-- they can excuse a heck of a lot of dead people as
long as America stays at home and the UN pulls a serious look and
vaccillates, hopefully for many years, so they can skip past the genocidal
international news pages when discussing Seinfeld in Starbucks. See Henry's
reply, the incredibly eloquent thrice yelling of quagmire. Still, as I said
a long time ago in this newsie, on the eve of the invasion, the juvenile end
of the wanky left--and that, as we can see, includes people of all
ages--have wanted to yell those three 'quagmires' since the before the
start. Their solution to Saddam: a UN stalemate where you make yourself
believe all manner of things about internal revolution and the application
of sanctions. This is a sticky corner and like I said, I think the decision
to oust him was right, but as for this just being a war like any other war
and your defence of the US Army and Washington I disagree. Your argument is
a fair one up to a point: I'm no 'well, why didn't it all go peachy?' but I
don't think it is as simple as that. By the way I think most wanky lefters
think it incredibly bad form to even discuss anything about the conflict-
that gets you branded an armchair general. The correct and fashionable
approach is a more generalized arm-swinging Munchian demonstration that you
know the horrors of war better than anyone else. Martha could probably give
us the most up to date protocals from San Fran on breastbeating
humanitarianism. As or my criticism of that old doper and monkey boy Bush,
please don't think I have a higher regard of The Haircut. Have you read
Kitty Kelley's Bush book yet? What a hypocritical, druggy couple of dipshits
him and his wife were. As he would say: only in America.....
