   It's like my local library: they know Isherwood's gay, so all his books get   
   moved to the gay interest section. Fortunately these pseuds' degrees don't   
   run to knowing fuck all about Firbank (or Waugh's cocoa shunting; and Henry   
   James hasn't been outed yet as far as I know), so he hasn't been made to sit   
   at the front of the bus - yet.
