   In her times column last week (I note that she's one BBC worker who is still   
   getting an extra 100 grand a year off Murdoch - Humphreys was getting 120   
   grand extra a year for writing that fucking stupid column in the Sunday   
   Times until the Corporation got its rhino whip out) Libby Purves was talking   
   more BBC wimmin shit.   
    Anyway, there she was saying that Ealing films 'during the war, inculcated   
   the fighting spirit in people,' and today's heavily lottery and arts council   
   subsidized politically correct propaganda movies: Kinky Boots, Bhaji on the   
   Beach, Billy Elliot etc are there to encourage working class people to 'be   
   brave and accept change.'   
     This example of oxbridge, bbc de haut en bas made me nearly sick on the   
   Guardian reader sitting next to me on the train.
