   The difference between the Anthony Walker trial and the Christopher Yates   
   trial show everything that is wrongheaded, hypocritical, political about   
   public life, the police and the BBC. The reporting of the Yates case - and   
   for that matter the already forgotten black-on-white murder victim Richard   
   Whelan on July 29th - was quick for the BBC, especially Radio 4. Not unlike   
   watching someone chew something they don't like at a dinner party; the   
   reporting of the Anthony Walker trial on the other hand...
