From: OCHAYE@FATBASTARDS.COM              Tuesday 13th December 2005              The pansy left are up in arms about the execution of Tookie Williams, an LA       mass murderer and gang leader who thought he could hoodwink the book-readin'       honkies and the Susan Sarandonocracy into letting him off the hook. To a       man, the candle brigade outside the jail will be the hardest-assed       pro-abortion types.        Of course, where execution is concerned, as Danny Green says in The       Ladykillers, 'if we were gonna do it, we shoulda done it and got it over       with.'        If you're sure the crime is monstrous and you're sure you have the right       man, then get on with it and don't ask a man to do a life sentence with       execution on top.        I can't get too worked up about that - he's had twenty-five years more than       the people whose heads he shot off.        One of the interesting things coming off the TV media - inveterately       lavender in these matters - is that they were sure that a large and       un-quantifiable number of children had been deterred from taking up crime       because of Williams's 'work'. These same media-istas would never allow that       the death penalty might also deter an un-quantifiable number of children       from going into crime.        As usual the ratchet only works one way. Same with the Right: they only       invoke the moral high ground when it suits their book. See the Dail Mail or       Telegraph.        The pictures in the newspapers of Kember the hostage are disturbing. They       are green and smudged because they are taken from video - they look like       Francis Bacon paintings, indeed, they are the world that Bacon was smearing       on canvas.              ROBBIE              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
