   I'm not: if he was a real artist - instead of a late capitalist   
   confectioner/rechauffer - he would have left the bloody film alone because   
   it had done its job etc and was only a wank anyway; but he's nerd, speiler   
   and a carpetbagger in one - a movie brat - so he was always going to tinker   
   and remarket.
