That's how I felt on New Year's. I know full well you look at my blog for
ammo, but I don't write untruthfully. But you see a man with plenty of joire
de vivre can have his black moments. In fact in my experience - and many
others - most people with plenty of joie de vivre have a proportionate
amount of black moments. So that is the most easy reconciliation I have ever
had to perform about my public statements.

So you're no longer a student of philosophy because you have passed an exam
in it? You must be very proud.

    From
   > what I can see you have precious little joie de vivre.

And you can't see much, that is very clear. I cannot be blamed because you
   have no sense of humour.

    What I have a
   > grudge against is your inconsistency

   Explain?

   >hypocrisy

   Explain?

   , refusal to admit you
   > are ever wrong

Oh I'm often wrong. I haven't been often wrong where you're concerned
though, and *that's* what you don't like.

   >and flagrant disregard for facts.

   Explain.

   >I said "for starters"

Yes and I refuted you and you never bothered to get onto 'main course' or
   'afters'.

   > when discussing why the Beeb hadn't done more on radical Islam, in
   > addition to what they *have* broadcast. Your misrepresentation of my
   > position

Would you like a full retraction of my mistake in mistaking you for an
undergraduate? For that is my only misrepresentation. The rest: that you are
a utilitarian, bear various grudges - you used the word above - against me
   is all fair comment.

in your blog and your emails to your friends says more about
   > your vanity

   What's vain about it?

and desire to be right than I am willing to waste the words
   > on.

So you make an make an argument and then insert a clause that you don't like
arguing? You are behaving more and more peevishly, Thomas.

   >
   > I am *not* foaming. No, seriously. And I won't be getting into this at
   > any length with you

Then you should not have even begun it.

, so save your refutation and expose of my hollow
   > little insults. Just crack on with the links and the whining.
   >

Well we agree on something: your insults - if insults they are - are hollow.
