I single out the BBC because

   1) they trade and revel in an image of current affairs omniscience and
probity - a delusion brought about largely by trading on the reputation of
the past and their own self-promotion/sense of entitlement. The reality, as
I shall keep demonstrating and boring everyone and lefties especially with,
is that they are deeply biased to the Left.

   2) they were interested enough in the Muslim 'issue' to make a Panorama
edition which was of the 'there's nothing to see here; we like them much
more than the white working class we pillory in our other programmes; if you
think they may soon pose a danger to free speech and democracy in the west
you're just a fascist, man.' variety. This was, of course, before the 7th
July 2005 and the jaw dropping furore about the cartoons (Martha A Bridegam
thinks that only people with not enough to think seriously about the cartoon
implications - latte-marxist reductionism at its most shrill). Now, the
journalists who made the programme were either looking the other way or not
doing their jobs properly - either way, the whole things smells of Wanky
   Left protectionism.

   3) They were also interested enough in the Muslim issue to make a programme
called 'The Power of Nightmares' in 2003 that suggested the whole Islamic
Fascist movement was some sort of scare got up by George Bush and the Daily
Mail. I'd like to watch those three shows again now.

4)The BBC is funded by the people of Britain on pain of legal action. It has
a charter and responsibilities. In short, it ain't like the other channels.
