   Will Self in the Evening Standard last night said the Leneghan case 'turned   
   his stomach' yet, as a confirmed leftist, came to the conclusion that it was   
   all *our* fault because Michael Johnson had been in care and smoked crack.   
   Self pushed the envelope - for bien pensant lefties - by saying that Johnson   
   had been exposed to a 'macho gun culture' but went no further. In a way it   
   is our fault: Self should have added that black culture has become obsessed   
   with violence and misogyny, is blighted by a cult of absent fathers,   
   braggadocio and mindless priapism and has been put beyond criticism by   
   cultural marxism. He could have added what the black social worker said on   
   the radio two days ago, that society is now arranged so that a boy can reach   
   his majority without ever experiencing anyone standing up to him and having   
   morality demonstrated I'm waiting for Decca Aitkenhead in the Guardian to   
   write a peice saying it's all caused by the colonial sugar plantations in

   All six men will automatically receive life terms, but Mr Justice   
   Penry-Davey has the power to set the minimum number of years they serve. He   
   adjourned the case for pre-sentence reports until April 28.'
