   who looked like pro dart players, students and twentysomething tasty   
   blondes. I knew the french muck lager was kicking in when I was dancing next   
   to a lunatic with a pearly king hat on and I thought: they would have been   
   Byron's favourite rock and roll band: spot-on negro syncopation plus rhyming   
   conversational exuberance.   
      
   Hilarious feature on Idi Amin in yesterday's 'Mail: When he was in the   
   King's African Rifles some scotchmen took a shine to him and put him in   
   their rugby team. They used to 'hit him on the head with a hammer before   
   matches to fire him up'.
