   Chomsky is simply (_selon_ the infallible Dershowitz) a "self-hating   
   Jew" who wants to see Israel 'wiped off the map'. Take that for whatever

   Absolutely not. Chomsky is still universally credited with   
   're-inventing' the science of linguistics in the '50s and his work since   
   then -- while extremely difficult for non-specialists to follow -- is   
   called 'damaging to the field' only by rear-guard followers of   
   structuralists such as Bloomfield (d. 1949).
