   It's not so much a favourable portrayal of the partisans as a spotlight   
   on a particularly egregious Fascist officer and the lackeys who jump to   
   do his bidding. A very strange film, altogether, with the   
   psychedelic-allegory blended -- not quite successfully, a mon avis --   
   into the historical propaganda. But it does echo themes heard in HtC.   
      
   Kill all the priests.
