   We finally drove by Walden Pond this past Christmas. Lovely, but why did   
   they have to put up a gift shop? Maybe that's where the pub should go.

   P.S. Have been less impressed with Thoreau since reading that the whole   
   time he was "roughing it," he was sending home his laundry to his
