   I think we’re overall quite tolerant of the differences in people. That   
   doesn’t mean that we’re tolerant of those that break our laws.  Our   
   immigration numbers have been drastically reduced. It’s no longer easy to   
   come here or to stay once in. The balance was off and Carney is righting   
   it. Interesting though, our universities relied on foreign (mostly East   
   Asian) student fees and to make up for the reduction of foreign students   
   (many who managed to illegally stay here once in), grants have been reduced   
   and loans increased.   
   Anything that works has to rely on balance.
