   No doubt he thinks that.  Other pretenders have shown that it takes   
   more than being filthy to become the grand old liar in chief.  A   
   couple of govs, family members.  But is true that there is and will   
   remain a place for a lovable enough gangster as president in the   
   hearts and minds of half of us.
