   Summary   
   Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining the   
   Investable Indices application in the Global Markets environment. Software   
   developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support   
   activities for the corporate    
   systems architecture.   
   •	Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for   
   system applications.   
   •	Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge,   
   and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge   
   of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert   
   by peers. Individual    
   contributor role.   
      
      
   Qualifications   
   Knowledge of financial derivatives and risk management a benefit but not   
   necessary   
   •	10 years experience in technology analysis and design   
   •	10+ years experience with #Python, #UNIX scripting, #SQL Queries,   
   #Database design and Tuning, Performance diagnostics and analysis.   
   •	7+ years of experience on #Linux and/or #windows.   
   •	Ability to compare alternate technologies and analyze pros and cons in   
   order to determine the best fit for a specific requirement.   
   •	Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution, including   
   replication to remote sites.   
   •	Provide technical systems and software support for modification,   
   implementation, or conversion of processing platforms.   
   •	Partner with application team, DBA's, infrastructure procurement and   
   production support to design infrastructure solution that will most   
   efficiently satisfy processing requirements.   
   •	Competent to work under general direction on complex projects.   
   •	Agile familiarity - Pair programming; Good testing skills; Good design   
   experience
