   MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A suspect who Memphis Police said broke into Buster's
   Liquor store early Thursday morning has been arrested.

   MPD said Malik Pigram, 22, is one of four suspects caught on video
   crashing a truck into the front door of Buster's and stealing $5,000 worth
   of liquor.

   Memphis Police said they responded to the scene around 4:45 a.m. Thursday,
   and a witness saw Pigram running away from the store across Highland,
   where he was hit by a car.

   Officers said he then ran toward an apartment complex and hid under a car,
   where police found him and took him into custody.

   Police said Pigram was also booked on weapon and vandalism charges for an
   April offense and was on an 8-year probation for an attempted carjacking
   back in January.

   The burglary is just the latest in a string of break-ins across the city
   targeting liquor stores, game stores and more this year.

   As of June, business burglaries have grown more than 40%, and shoplifting
   has increased by almost 28% over the past year, according to the Memphis
   public safety data hub.
