XPost: alt.fan.rush-limbaugh, alt.war.civil.usa, sat.general       XPost: talk.politics.guns, sac.politics       From: democrats@caused.it              Joshua Albert Joseph charged with murder in connection with July 7 incident in       5500 block of Babcock Road              SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department made an arrest Friday in the       fatal shooting of a Sonic Drive-In manager last month.              The US Marshals Service arrested Joshua Albert Joseph in the 1300 block of       Patricia.              Police spokeswoman Ximena Alvarez said Joseph and two women went to a Sonic       Drive-In around 9:40 p.m. in the 5500 block of Babcock Road on July 7 and       ordered some food.              The trio went inside the restaurant and tried to pay for the food with       counterfeit money. The manager, Daniel Shrewsbury, 33, noticed the money and       told them about it.              The trio ended up paying for the food with real money, but before leaving,       they took some money from a cup, Alvarez said.              Shrewsbury followed them to their vehicle and took a picture of the license       plate, Alvarez said.              That’s when Joseph, who was driving the car, got upset, and the two argued.       Moments later, Joseph told Shrewsbury he was going to get shot, Alvarez said.              One of the women then opened fire, killing Shrewsbury, according to police.              “I apologize for the actions of somebody who happened to be with me, and       none of that should have happened,” Joseph told reporters before being taken       to the Bexar County Jail. “That person made a decision they shouldn’t have       made.”              Alvarez said the threat is the reason why Joseph is being charged with murder.              SAPD believes the woman who shot Shrewsbury is Adiah Namir Roberson, who is       still on the loose.              Anyone with information on Roberson’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact       SAPD’s Homicide Unit at 210-207-7635.              The other woman in the vehicle is only considered a witness at this point and       has not been charged, Alvarez said.              Joseph has an extensive criminal history in Bexar County, including charges of       a felon in possession of a gun, felony marijuana, aggravated robbery and       unlawful carrying of a weapon.              https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2024/08/16/sapd-make-arrest-in-f       tal-shooting-of-sonic-manager/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
