If someone       is kicked, comes back and continues doing what got them kicked or insults       an op for kicking, that person does not come back.              > He also referred to the user Lime-Mack as "Lime-Dick", all while       > Snogpitch was watching, Snogpitch even gave a link to altavista       > translator when someone raised the issue.              Unfortunately we have to settle for the fact that the ops can do whatever       they want, because they are ops. Don't like it, you can always start       another channel, but good luck getting anyone to come. (I was fortunate       enough to get half the regulars from another channel to come to mine after       I had a dispute with the channel founder about selective enforcement, but       that's because most of them took my side anyway, or were there because       of me.)              > So snogpitch, about time you got over this bout of political       > correctness and removed this permenant ban, don't you think? Or should       > all regular and long term #c64friends members expect this kind of       > treatment?              Anyone can expect to be banned at the sole discretion of the ops. It's       unfortunate but it's the way of IRC. I was nearly banned from saying the       F word on Snogpitch's watch, so I generally keep my mouth shut when he's       around.              -uso.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
