It is a ESCOM Monitor, ES431EQNL.              Don't know for sure about your monitor, but I have used an old Zenith green       screen monitor on my C128 before. My Zenith monitor has a single RCA type       jack for input.              For 80 column use, you need one RCA plug and a DB-9 connector. Pin 7 on the       C128 is monochrome output and goes to the center contact on the RCA plug.       Pins 1 and 2 are ground and go to the outer shell of the RCA plug.              For 40 column use, you need an RCA plug and an 8 pin DIN plug. Pin 2 is       ground and should go to the shell of the RCA plug. Pin 1 is Luminance/SYNC       output, and pin 4 is Composite signal output. Use whichever gives the best       results with your monitor to the center pin of the RCA plug.       --       Best regards,              Sam Gillett              Change is inevitable,       except from vending machines!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
