   I think a Commodore-oriented slashcode site (like Slashdot) would work well.   
   You could have topics like the DTV, Coding, Games, People, CMD, Commodore   
   International, etc.  Basically take a sampling of (real) topics from   
   comp.sys.cbm from the past year to establish the topics.   
      
   Best of all, the individual users choose what they want to see, by filtering   
   out or highlighting topics.   
      
   The only gotcha might be lack of enough users to have a large base of   
   moderators and meta-moderators.
