I think it would be more inexpensive to build a       computer relying on a modern flash memory card, instead of using the drives,       with some software able to manipulate the data into a C64 native format -       there is already, actually.              After all, a real computer after the DTV project would be something nice       already. The technology is there. It's a C64 with some graphical       improvements, it has backward compatibility to older peripherals...Threw in       a compact flash slot and a network card, and make it fit a well designed       keyboard...              Riccardo              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
