   You missed the point-- most people don't like having to sign up to   
   pointless 'memberships' to 20 different sites every day, and then   
   having to wait for the email registration and managing all those   
   accounts. It also thwarts the ideal of BitTorrent of wanting as -many-   
   people peering as possible. Sure, you might has aspirations of forcing   
   a community on your site-- but that means having 1 or 0 seeds on your   
   torrents, instead of 10 to 20...   
      
   (One forum site I use ("Chan of Four"..) actually bans people for   
   posting links to rego torrent sites.)
