   Although it might be able to use both GCR and MFM disks like the Commodore   
   1571 disk drive can (really don't know as I never had one), The Commodore   
   model of the Indus GT would have to use GCR as a native mode to be   
   compatiable with C64 software, which was distributed on GCR encoded disks, in   
   order to be compatiable with the 1541 disk drive.
