XPost: comp.sys.cbm, rec.games.video.classic       From: nospam.rickbalkins@nospam.wavestarinteractive.com              That is what had been done in the past.              It doesn't show support for those who did live in the pacific coast.       This is probably among some reasons why people on the west coast declined       faster than in the midwest. These events have a certain morale effect. It       shows that there is still an active Commodore community in your area. Tavels       of long distance is quite a feat for some people.              It does make logical sense but it shouldn't be that way. These expos are       examples that shows that there are still people that supports and are active       with the Commodore in your region. Without such events, people are more       inclined to stop being active with Commodore.              I hope it is understandable.              I support any event that is in the area that is breaks even. I hope that       CommVex v3 has higher attendance and v4 would have even higher attendance.              I would be impressed to see a Commodore represenative show up to one of       these events. It is all about being active in all areas and connecting these       islands of Commodore communities. Europe has a huge island of Commodore       users in the Germany/Netherlands area as well as another little smaller       island in UK.              The key is keeping all areas of Commodore communities connected and not       isolated.                     "Clockmeister" |
