   Worth adding is the ~ (tilde) command in the VICE monitor.   
   It can be used to quickly figure out the representation of   
   a number in another base, e.g:   
      
   (C:$xxxx) ~+5429   
   +5429 (decimal)   
   $1535 (hexadecimal)   
   0012465 (octal)   
   00010101 00110101 (binary)   
      
   If you use the ~ command without a prefix, it is considered a   
   hexadecimal number. This may be useful for the original poster   
   if he has more "infinite lives" POKEs he wants to enter through   
   the monitor.
