   I used to replace the standard Windows NT logon screen and screen saver   
   with a realistic C64 startup screen (ripped from VICE with PAL   
   emulation). It always provoked a response from people of a certain   
   age... For Linux there is also scree saver that very realistically   
   mimics old home computers such as the Apple ][ (including noisy/unstable   
   pictures, cross-color effects...etc). Forgot the name though.
