XPost: z-netz.alt.c64       From: spam@meszi.de              Dear C64 fans,              I plan to "re-animate" my dear old C64 for some music experiments with       the MSSIAH module. It's been almost 15 years ago when I run it last time.              Maybe you can help me out on a two questions that arised...                     1. Video signal:              I'd like to connect the video out signal to some kind of a USB video       adapter which would be connected to my PC/WinXP or Mac/OSX. I simply       don't want to have a TV set in my room. Can anyone suggest an adapter       that runs fine with the C64?                     2. The floppy drive:              I don't think that I can still read my disks ... but _if_ ... is there       some way to store the content onto some network drive or disk image file       which could be placed on my PC or Mac?              The MSSIAH module gives the opportunity to save its files into some       audio file on the PC like if I used a cassette recorder. But possibly I       can also connect some network storage that appears like a floppy drive       towards the C64.              I already read about IDE64 but my expandion slot would already be       occupied by the MSSIAH module. So I guess that won't be an option.                     I'd be glad if someone could help me on these issues.              CU,       Mészi.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
