   No, not afraid of cancer ... no history of it in family. I also doubt   
   surgeon would remove an organ just because someone was afraid of cancer.   
      
   I have a condition known as adenomyosis which causes excessive bleeding   
   and extreme pain.   
      
   Both my sisters have had hysterectomies, one for same condition and one   
   for fibroids.   
      
   Neither have had any issues with excessive body hair because ovaries   
   (which produce hormones) were kept intact.
